Boston is beefing up its winter programming with the inception of an all-new festival.
The inaugural Frostival — running from late November through February — will take the Boston’s seasonal activities to the next level with experiences such as holiday-themed drone shows, an immersive lodge in Copley Square, a wine festival spotlighting women-owned wineries and more.
Sponsored by Meet Boston, Frostival is intended to transform and reimagine what it’s like to spend winter in the city.

Weekly drone shows over Boston Common
Frostival festivities will kick off with holiday-themed drone shows over Boston Common starting Saturday night, Nov. 29 and last until Dec. 20. Two performances will be held each evening, taking flight from the corner of Boylston and Charles streets.
Ferris wheel on Rose Kennedy Greenway
Visitors can take in panoramic views of Boston’s waterfront by riding a Ferris wheel on the Greenway. The ride is expected to be operating throughout the month of February.
Femme Fête Wine Festival
Meet Boston will host a premier wine-tasting event highlighting women-owned wineries, wine makers and sommeliers from around the world on Feb. 28, 2026.
