Following reports Lil Wayne was hospitalized in Chicago on Sunday (September 3) after experiencing multiple seizures, Weezy’s daughter Reginae Carter has delivered an update on her father’s condition.
At the same time, the 18-year-old, who has defended her rap star father on numerous occasions, also expressed gratitude for those concerned about her dad’s health.
“My dad is doing fine everyone ! Thanks for the concerns you guys are amazing,” she tweeted on Monday (September 4).
Carter also added a bit of advice for those who may be easily swayed by what they read online.
“Oh yeah .. & don’t believe everything you hear,” she tweeted.
TMZ reports that various sources have said Wayne appeared healthy at recent shows in Florida and Indiana, and was on time for both appearances.
Given Wayne’s history with the drug Lean (or Purple Drank), many speculated his seizures could be drug related, but sources present at the two shows said the Young Money rapper didn’t appear to be sipping on the codeine concoction that night.
In a 2013 interview, Wayne confirmed he had epilepsy.
