T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach just shared some very exciting news – they’re engaged!
During the Tuesday (October 14) episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast, the couple announced that they’re engaged, nearly three years after their affair led to their firings from GMA3.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month immediately,” Amy, 52, shared.
Keep reading to find out more…T.J., 48, added, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.”
If you forgot, T.J. and Amy were fired from their jobs at ABC in January 2023 after it was revealed that they were having an affair while married to other people. They both got divorced from their former spouses (who are immediately actually dating!) and have been together ever since.
Amy went on to share that she has been publicly wearing her engagement ring in “crowds of tens of thousands” of people and “in everyone’s face,” but “nobody said a word.”
“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Amy said.
“We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!” T.J. added.
