During his 90s Showtime at the Apollo-themed event in Atlanta, 21 and his crew dressed up as Jodeci for the Saturday night celebration. Dressed in black leather vests and matching pants, the men channeled the quartet’s iconic look. Pulling media personality Baby Jade onstage alongside his crew, Savage began serenading the crowd with his rendition of their March 1994 single “Feenin.” Attendees immediately joined in, with choir practice quickly commencing in the building.
The rapper turns 32 on October 22nd and has accomplished quite a bit during his 12-year career. Since his debut single “I Can’t Get Enough” in 2013, the Atlanta superstar has racked up numerous nominations and awards, including a Grammy win for his J. Cole-assisted track “A Lot.”
Turning a year older, 21 has much to sing about.
