The “Survivor Ultimate Fan Cafe” will be opening in the city this fall.
Fans of “Survivor” will soon have a spot in Boston where they can try their hand at challenges from the show, participate in movie parties, and eat with other devotees of the reality-competition show.
The program announced Wednesday on Instagram that the “Survivor Ultimate Fan Cafe” will be “opening soon” in the city.
“We were inspired to create a real life destination where fans could come together and celebrate everything they love about ‘Survivor,’” host Jeff Probst said in a video. “So if you’re in the Boston area this fall, make sure and check it out.”
According to the post, the cafe will be open to all ages. Chef Becky Brown, a “Chopped” champion, will be curating a Polynesian-fusion menu for the cafe. Brown is no stranger to putting together eats for fan experiences. In 2023, she was tapped to launch Barbie-themed menus for Malibu Barbie Cafe popups across the country.
According to Boston Business Journal, CBS is partnering with Bucket Listers to create the cafe, which will be based at The Greatest Bar at 262 Friend St. in the city’s West End.
The location of the fan cafe has a connection to the upcoming 49th season, which is set to premier Sept. 24. According to BBJ, The Greatest Bar is owned by the parents of Shannon Fairweather, a contestant on the new season.
The cafe will open a day before the season premier, on Sept. 23, according to BBJ, and entry tickets start at $30, with a $10 food and beverage included to use during the 90-minute reservation.
Fans interested in visiting the Survivor cafe are being encouraged to sign up for the establishment’s waitlist for updates.
