A$AP Rocky Gushes Over His Daughter, Rocki, In New Interview

Looks like A$AP Rocky is embracing dad goals in the best way. While fans might expect him to name a fire track or a next-level fit as his favorite creation of the year, the Harlem-born rapper had something way more sentimental (and adorable) in mind. In a recent interview with Complex, Rocky, 37, melted hearts with a simple — but powerful — answer.

Rocky’s Heart Belongs To His Baby mami

When it comes to accomplishments, A$AP Rocky kept it real cute — and real personal. During the interview, when asked what his favorite creation of the year was, Rocky didn’t hesitate. “My daughter,” he revealed, giving a sweet shoutout to baby Rocki Irish, whom he welcomed with longtime partner Rihanna in September. “That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish.” Whew — somebody hand us a tissue!

Rihanna, 37, announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram last month with a sweet photo carousel showing her cradling little Rocki in a soft pink onesie. Fans were quick to spot the tiny ribbon-laced gloves and a delicate “Mom” ring on RiRi’s finger. In the caption, she simply wrote: “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025,” tagging Rocky in the post. Between this and Rocky’s proud dad moment, the Mayers family is giving nothing but love.

From “Aww” To “Oop!” In The Comments

Folks wasted no time running to Complex’s comment section after A$AP Rocky’s sweet shoutout to baby Rocki. Many were here for his proud mami dad energy, dropping heart emojis and “he’s so soft immediately” comments left and right. Of course, a few couldn’t help but throw shade, saying, “Clearly beat ain’t his favorite… nor ours,” while others joked that even in dad mode, Rocky still manages to flex on us all.
