Twenti-twenty five has so far been a truly amazing year for A$AP Rocky professionally. However, according to the rapper, none of those accomplishments come close to his proudest achievement yet, welcoming his baby shorty.

Rocky and longtime partner Rihanna celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Rocki Irish, on Sept. 13, marking the couple’s third child together. The new addition joins big brothers RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 2, rounding out what the proud dad calls his “favorite thing” he’s created all year.
“My daughter. That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish, man,” the rapper told Complex during a recent interview reflecting on his whirlwind year.

It’s been a busy stretch for the 37-year-old musician. Beyond the joys of fatherhood, Rocky also appeared in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest and Mary Bronstein’s psychological drama If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. He’s simultaneously been teasing fans with updates on his long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb and a new fashion collaboration with Puma.
But when it comes to priorities, it’s clear family comes first. Even before Rocki’s arrival, the rapper made no secret of his hopes for a baby shorty. “I hope it’s a shorty. I really do,” he told Elle earlier this year. “We’re praying for a shorty… I feel like it’s going to be a shorty. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby shorty, man. I need that.”

While his new project, “Don’t Be Dumb” has yet to receive an official release date after being pushed from August, the rapper told Billboard it’s his strongest work to date. The upcoming LP is set to feature collaborations with Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell Williams, Madlib, and Metro Boomin.
