During the Indiana Fever’s Sunday afternoon 78-74 victory over the Seattle Storm from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, forward Aliyah Boston’s 16 points and 12 rebounds matched another franchise record with teammate Caitlin Clark as the team extended their winning streak to a franchise-tying five straight games.
Boston’s double-double against the Storm today gives her 14 on the campaign and matches Clark’s franchise record for most all-time double-doubles in a single season.
Boston has been one of the many factors in the team’s recent surge since the WNBA All-Star break by posting 92 points and 62 rebounds since the WNBA All-Star break on July 19, en route to six consecutive double-doubles.

Those six double-doubles also elevates Boston past Clark for the most consecutive recorded in a single season in franchise history, with Clark setting the record last season with five.
In addition to the franchise record that Boston tied with Clark, the former South Carolina Gamecock also became the Fever’s No. 4 all-time rebounder by passing Tammy Sutton-Brown with 924 boards collected.
Boston, who is in her third WNBA season, today only trails Ebony Hoffman (1,115), Erlana Larkins (1,191), and Tamika Catchings (3,315) on the franchise’s rebounding leaderboard.
As for Clark, the former Hawkeye remains out of the lineup as she recovers from a right groin injury suffered on July 15, but has made significant improvements by beginning full-court running drills in four out of the past five team practices.

While no definitive timeline has been released regarding her recovery length, there is still speculation that Clark could make a return to the floor following the team’s five-day break on August 22
