Amanda Diaz is pushing the concept for a slick hair that is about 96-hour reality from a distant dream. The influencer gave it a trial run with the newly launched MegaSleek 96H Anti-Frizz Topcoat from Matrix, and the results? Sublime.

In an Instagram post, she worked her mane into glass-hair glamor with pin-straight locks as she sang praises for the topcoat, which remained frizz-free whatever the weather was. “No matter the plan, occasion, or activity—the sleek is here to last through it all,” she wrote, tagging Matrix with the hashtag #TopcoatToTheTest.
The claim was that it offered heat protection until 450 degrees and resisted humidity at 97%—as well used in a whole day of rough conditions, especially after a stroll in the farmers market in the morning and canyon hiking in the afternoon. Diaz says smoothly was held for the entire day by the topcoat.
Her followers fell to showering praise almost immediately. “Your hair is everything,” said one. Another wit issued, “Step one: have amazing hair.” Others were nostalgic: “Omggg you’re so gorgeous-been watching you since Miami videos.”
It has also led to an amusing few: “Hey Amanda, come to Vancouver,” and an outright speculation loud and quick on where the lace leading on her was sourced from. But mostly, people just envied that hair of hers, pouring in comments like “Your hair is just perfect” and “Hair is so long.”
Clearly, Matrix’s MegaSleek Topcoat is making some noise, and judging by Diaz’s fabulous results, it might be the very much-needed answer to fighting frizz.
