“I’m making no promises. I’m wondering like you, just like the fans,” Angela told the host. Despite not having answers, Angela did reveal that her character, Athena, was going to “keep [Bobby’s] memory alive in some way.”
Angela admitted that the cast is usually the last to know about major plot twists. This means that even if Peter‘s character will be back in some way, she likely won’t know until they’re ready to film with him again.
She said, “Maybe I have to go in for a fitting, so maybe I’ll hear, ‘Oh, you’re going to be doing something lit,’ because a lot times the heads of the department will get, if not the script, the idea of what it’s going to be about before we do so they can get a little head start. And then sometimes they can’t help but share.”
9-1-1 will return for season 9 on October 9, 2025. Find out all the details about the major cast shakeup before the season airs!
