Fans of My Life With the Walter Boys might be wondering if the on-screen sparks between Nikki Rodriguez and Noah LaLonde are spilling into real life — and the internet is losing it.
In case you don’t know, the show’s premise, in which a group of brothers competes for the same mami, has some fans today speculating that Nikki and Noah might be following the same romantic script off-screen.
The speculation ramped up recently when 22-year-old Nikki shared a TikTok featuring herself and 27-year-old LaLonde taking part in a romantic trend. Set to Beyoncé’s 2016 love ballad “All Night,” the video shows Noah lifting Nikki with one arm while she loops her arms around his neck, carrying her down a sidewalk. Nikki even tries to lift Noah in return — but doesn’t quite succeed — and captioned the post, “1 for 2.” Fans quickly flooded the comments with excitement, saying things like, “NIKKI AND NOAH CONFIRMED🥹” and “i feel like this is the hard launch we have all been waiting for,” while others teased, “i knew that kiss was a lil too real…”
Rumors aren’t exactly new. The pair previously attended the 2024 Golden Globes and 2024 People’s Choice Awards together, in what many described as “date-night adjacent” appearances. Since then, speculation has followed them closely, which neither has officially addressed.
Filming for Season 2 wrapped in November 2024, and Noah told Tudum that the last days on set were “emotional.”
“It’s awesome to see this show received well and to have people escaping to Silver Falls with us because it’s a sweet place. And while there’s some dramatic stuff that goes on, I’m sure it’ll all be happy in the end. But how the hell could I know?”
Nikki also gushed about the cast’s closeness in a February 2024 People interview: “We hang out all the time. I got super, super lucky. Everyone in the cast is — from the bottom of my heart — the most genuine people. I couldn’t have asked for a better cast.”
The Netflix series, which premiered in 2023, follows Jackie Howard (Rodriguez) as she moves in with the Walter family after losing her family in a car accident. LaLonde and Ashby Gentry play Jackie’s love interests Cole and Alex Walter, respectively. Season 2 teases, “Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family.”
Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys premieres August 28 on Netflix.
