The 54-year-old Skinny mami founder and former Real Housewives of New York City star recently spoke to Us Weekly about her contract.

Bethenny left after season 3 of RHONY but returned for season 7. According to the reality TV alum, she agreed to return to the series that she helped to start after successfully negotiating a contract with Bravo.
“When I was going back to Housewives, I asked for anything I wanted. They asked me what I wanted. I asked for it. I got it,” Bethenny recalled, keeping coy about exactly how much the network gave her to return to the show.
“My contract was anything I wanted to the days I wanted to shoot, the hours I wanted to shoot, the way I wanted to shoot, the money I wanted to get,” Bethenny continued, calling the contract she was given “very cushy.”
She went on to share that her main priority in negotiating her filming days was her daughter. Bethenny said that when she was with her daughter, she didn’t want to have to be filming and Bravo agreed to let her schedule filming around her custody arrangement.
She said, “It created some resentment, but I was able to come to a cast trip two days late, leave two days early. I would maximize the most of the content when I was there.”
Bethenny also teased returning to reality TV for the right cost.
“Someone just recently asked me to do a show with them. They’re pretty famous, and we could get a show. But, like, I don’t want that bulk. I don’t want the bulk of the suits. I don’t want the bulk of the lens, the shooting, the hair, the makeup, the editing. It’s just too bulky. It would be a very specific situation, and it would have to be an astronomical sum,” Bethenny said and went on to say that she would need to be paid “seven figures” for only a short window of filming if she were to agree.
