She also revealed that she confronted him when she found Rs 50,000 in his pocket and he pinned her against the wall, warning her not to call anyone.
Kashish Kapoor accused of damaging Rs 85,000 outfit
today, the actress is again in the news. This time, the accusations are against her. Designer Smita Shrinivas has accused her of scamming. Kashish allegedly destroyed a couture gown worth Rs 85,000. The gown was returned ‘wet and dusty,’ unsellable, and unusable due to the damage.
Smita shared screenshots showing that when she asked for compensation, Kashish and her team offered Rs 40,000, less than half the gown’s cost. She also said that Kashish even blocked her and when she contacted her team, they said that the compensation can be a social media shout-out for her brand.
In the screenshots, Kashish’s team is telling Smita that she will not pay for the dress as she will not wear it again. The designer said that she did not even get an apology from her. Smita also asked other designers to take deposits and that no promotions or shout-outs pay their bills. This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.
She wrote, “KASHISH KAPOOR kashishkapoor302 SCAMMED ME OF ₹85,000. This isn’t just about one green couture gown. It’s about how small designers get exploited in the name of ‘collaboration’ and ‘exposure’. Dot Media Agency @dotmediabase took my gown for influencer Kashish. I shared exact size details (S), but she needed XS — they took it anyway. The gown came back destroyed — wet, dusty, crumpled, stuffed inside-out. This was an ₹85k couture piece, weeks of artisan work. Once in that state, it’s unsellable and can’t be reused. I asked for compensation or for them to grab it. We settled on ₹40k (less than half its worth) to end it peacefully. Then came weeks of excuses — ‘Will transfer tomorrow’, ‘Bank issue’, ‘I’m traveling’. Finally, Kashish blocked me.”
