Three members of the Putman family from the reality TV show Meet The Putmans have died in a tragic car accident.
The family put out a heartbreaking statement on September 28 on Instagram sharing the news.
”I come to you with a heavy heart, asking for your prayers. Our family was in a tragic car accident and we lost Papa, Neenee and Aunt Megan,” referring to grandparents Bill and Barb Putman and their daughter-in-law Megan.
“They have gone home to be with the Lord.”
Other members of the family sustained injuries in the crash, with the statement reading, “Please keep Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia in your prayers as they remain in the hospital. We are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them.”
“We know Papa, Neenee and Aunt Megan are not gone forever. They are alive and whole in Heaven, standing before Jesus, hearing the words we all long to hear: ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.'”
The show, which aired in 2017 on TLC, followed the lives of Bill and Barb Putman and their multi-generational family of 25 (today 30 members), all living under one roof. It was later revived and retitled Growing up Putman, released on YouTube in 2021.

The late couple’s son Blake was married to Megan for 18 years before her tragic death in the crash. They shared children Mercy, Lulu, Alena and Noah.
Fans were shocked by the news of the crash, sharing their thoughts and prayers for the family in the Instagram comment section.
