
Blac Chyna is opening up about ending her engagement to Derrick Milano.
If you didn’t know, the pair started dating in 2023 and in October 2024, Derrick, 31, proposed to Chyna, 37.
Then last month, Chyna announced on social media that she and Derrick called off their engagement and broke up.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chyna revealed why she and Derrick called it quits.
Keep reading to find out more…“First of all, it was mutual, and I feel sometimes in life people try to hold on to certain things but, I’m going in a different direction than Derrick — like we’re both doing our own things,” Chyna shared.
“I feel like I just really need to focus on myself, my kids and my spirituality,” she added.
Chyna then noted that she and Derrick are “really good friends still.”
She also said that she and the rapper continue to check in on each other and still follow each other on Instagram.
“Nothing happened. Nobody cheated,” Chyna said. “It was like an ongoing thing — growing in different directions for sure.”
“I feel like it’s really healthy, too. Sometimes people stay in relationships too long,” she explained. “Then that’s toxic and then you start to grow this hatred towards the next person when it shouldn’t be that way.”
Chyna then noted that she and Derrick were friends before they became romantically involved, so it won’t be an issue for them to stay friends after the split.
“It’s a very healthy breakup,” she added.
