Blake Lively was reportedly offered a contract that could have granted her hundreds of thousands of dollars if her performance in It Ends With Us received any major awards nominations.
According to a draft of the proposed contract obtained by People amid the 38-year-old star’s ongoing legal battle with film director and co-star Justin Baldoni, the document stipulated multiple bonuses should her role in the film have earned her significant awards season attention.

“Lively would have been paid $100,000 for an Academy Award nomination and $200,000 for a win, to be capped at $200,000 total,” and she would have been “paid $75,000 for Golden Globe nomination and $100,000 for a win, and $50,000 for a SAG Award nomination and $75,000 for a win,” details the outlet.
In addition to potential awards-based compensation, Blake would have received $250,000 every time the movie reached a “major box office” milestone.
But the drafted contract also included “an addendum that would prohibit Lively and the film’s producers from pursuing matters related to the film in open court,” and they would instead “be required to resolve any issues through confidential arbitration in Los Angeles.” Blake did not end up signing the contract.
Taylor Swift fans are speculating that her new song “CANCELLED!” is about her friendship with the actress.
