CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College women’s golf team returns to action this week, as it begins 2025 fall play at the 2025 Cougar Classic at Yeamans Hall Club.
The two-day tournament begins Monday morning with a shotgun start, playing 36 holes in a continuous format. The Classic then concludes Tuesday morning with the third and final round of action. The Eagles will be grouped with Furman and Maryland, driving off the 12th, 13th, and 14th holes. Eighteen teams will participate in this year’s iteration of the tournament.
Boston College finished in a three-way tie for fourth at last year’s Cougar Classic, finishing at 13-over. Graduate student Cynthia Zhang was the highest-placing Eagle, tying for 13th after shooting 3-under (68) in the final round of play. Senior Emily Böhrer and junior Frances Kim also earned leading 40 finishes, and sophomore Ana Lucia Trevino made her collegiate debut, finishing 78th overall.
Designed by Seth Raynor in 1925, the Yeamans Hall Club is described as “a time capsule in Charleston” with its firm playing conditions, wide tree-lined fairways, and trademark greens. Unique features such as horseshoe contours, 3rd and 10th hole putting surfaces and spines, and narrow green slopes from right to left on the 6th hole, make it one to fall in love with golf.
