BPD will #NeverForget
Thank you to everyone who took part in observances of 9/11 this week here in Boston.
Commissioner Cox and members of the Boston Police Department were proud to be part of various events in the City yesterday honoring the more than 200 Bay State residents whose lives were taken on September 11, 2001.
Observances included the 9/11 National Day of Service Blood Drive with the American Red Cross of Massachusetts with the Red Sox at Fenway Park, to joining Mayor Wu, Governor Healy and Lt Governor Driscoll, alongside loved ones of those lost on 9/11 to lay a wreath or a rose at the Garden of Remembrance in the Boston Public Garden. The Garden was dedicated in 2004.
Our hearts are with the loved ones of all of the nearly 3000 individuals who were killed 24 years ago. We will Never Forget.
