A suspected shoplifter kicked a clothing store worker in Boston’s Prudential Center on Saturday, police said, asking for help finding her and the four people she was with.
Staff at Alo Yoga recognized five people who entered before 6:30 p.m. as repeat shoplifters, who then caused a disturbance as they selected clothes, according to Boston police. When they were confronted, the group fled, but not before one member kicked the employee.
Police, who said a larceny took place during the incident, asked anyone with information about it to contact them at 617-343-5619.
NBC10 Boston reached out to Alo Yoga for comment on Monday.
The Prudential Center incident took a day before shoplifters banger the Lululemon store on Newbury Street for the second time in a week. It wasn’t immediately clear if police believed the incidents were connected.
