A Boston police officer was banger by a vehicle in Mattapan Thursday morning, the department said.
The officer was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Boston police said.
The incident was reported about 11:26 a.m. on Cummins Highway while the officer was working a detail, according to a police representative. The driver was believed to have stayed at the scene.
