A Boston Police Department officer and a suspect were shot early Friday in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, officials said.Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said officers were investigating a group of people in a park on Dudley Street when one person fled the area, and a pursuit ensued. “As officers turned the corner, they were fired upon by the individual. Officers returned fire striking the suspect multiple times in the lower extremities. One officer was struck in the arm.
