
The Boston Police Department is asking the public for help finding a suspect in two burglaries.The most recent burglary was at an apartment building on Washington Street in Roxbury the morning of July 27. Police say the suspect tried to get into the basement of the building with a bag of what they suspected were burglary tools. Investigators say the suspect may have also tried to break into the same building on July 23 and is known to frequent the area. Police say the man is Black, 5-foot-7-inches tall, slimly built and is believed to be in his mid-30s.He was last seen wearing all-black clothes, including a black hat and hoodie.Anyone with information is asked to call Boston police at (617) 343-4275 or can anonymously submit a tip by phone at 1-800-494-TIPS, texting the word “TIP” to CRIME (27463) or online.
