SAN DIEGO — Manager Alex Cora made one adjustment to Sunday’s Red Sox lineup against the Padres, after using the same lineup for the first two games of the series.
Cora has Romy Gonzalez at first base instead of Abraham Toro. Everything else remains the same.
The Red Sox and Padres will play the rubber game of their three-game series at 4:10 p.m., eastern.
Righty Brayan Bello (8-5, 3.03 ERA) will start for Boston opposite San Diego right-hander Dylan Cease (4-10, 4.60 ERA).
Connor Wong, who has worked well with Bello, will catch for a fourth straight day. Carlos Narváez has been dealing with a sore knee and is expected to return Monday. Cora wanted to keep the Bello-Wong pairing together.
