Cooler air shuffled in overnight, dropping us back to the 40s in many suburban areas.
We’ll recover nicely under blue skies, but we’ll fall far short of yesterday’s highs of 80+. Expect cooler breezes to blow in from the east and northeast this afternoon.

Tonight will be the chilliest so far this season. Lows will get back into the mid and upper 30s in some of the cooler spots in the suburbs.
While we may not see a frost in all towns, some may get cold enough to see a bit of white on the lawn.

Crystal clear skies and light winds will help cool us off right after sunset, something to keep in mind if you’re stepping out tonight.
Sunny weather boosts us back to near 70 by afternoon. Still a steady sea breeze in the afternoon. Ditto for Monday with slightly milder temps.

Our hope next week is for a slow-moving weather system to up the odds for steady rain by the middle of the week. We’re figuring that as long as it sticks around for a while, we may have a chance to conjure up something…at some point.
Enjoy the weekend and be safe!
