A Boston woman was rescued from a New Hampshire mountain this weekend after injuring her leg.
New Hampshire Fish and Game received a report of an injured hiker near the summit of Mount Osceola in Livermore around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday.
The rescue team, made up of more than 20 conservation officials and volunteers, reached the injured hiker by 6:00 p.m., according to Fish and Game.
The team used a rescue litter to carry the hiker 2.7 miles down the trail beginning at 6:35 p.m.
After the team reached the trailhead around 10:15 p.m., they moved the 28-year-old hiker to an ambulance, and Waterville Valley Department of Safety transported her to Speare Memorial Hospital for treatment.
