Seeking solace and an artistic outlet, Brie said in an episode of her YouTube series that when she’s cooking, she feels she has control over everything with no control in other aspects of her life. The former wrestling star and podcaster gave a real-life heavy set explanation for her Instagram posting, which pictures and promotes “Hi, My Name Is Brie,” sharing a recipe for her version of homemade-gf-dairy free bread.

Garcia took a candid moment to discuss baking as therapy: “I think the one thing I love about being in the kitchen is how creative you can be,” she said. “Sometimes in our lives we don’t have control of how our career’s going or what our boss thinks of us. Or just all these things that sometimes feel out of control. And when you get into the kitchen, you’re in full control.”
“In the end, it all comes down to how you prepare food for your family, and yourself. We have these bodies here, and we know what sustains them, so you with your two hands and proper knowledge can bring it forth right here in the kitchen,” and after that, her face glowed when she spoke about her family’s reception to her food; “That feeling of fulfillment when my family eats, they laugh and they’re happy, and I know they’re healthy is simply the best feeling in the world.”
Garcia also commented on the artistic side of baking, speaking about various decorating styles she had seen: “I’ve seen so many people on Pinterest put, like, go out and pick their lavender and they do little designs on their bread. And you could cook it like that. Or you can, you know, put little patterns. Like it’s really neat that your artistic side can come out and cooking as well.”
The caption on Instagram read, “Chef Brie is BACK in the kitchen!” a tease of messy moments-from-episode-fun with the kids to family taste testing (some very honest reactions). The post has gotten quite a lot of engagement from followers, most of whom expressed excitement about her return.
In the comments section, you can find all sorts of supportive comments and equally curious queries. One of the followers came in with fiery enthusiasm, “Welcome back Chef Brie, I loved this episode!” while another felt the vibe about the meditative quality of cooking and replied, “Love this… and it explains why I love making sourdough bread every single week without fail. It’s meditative.”
Another commenter chimed in with a plain and simple endorsement: “I love this. And homemade food made with love!” However, not all agreed. “This pretentious need to say something profound” slapped down her leaning toward philosophy about cooking, commenting on the polarized reception to celebrity lifestyle content.
A more pragmatic-pointed query was made with regard to her gluten-free stance for her children: “No hate just curious, why r the kids gluten free, there’s not much benefit of going gluten free. It’s just more of a hassle.” This is just another showing of celebrity parenting styles and nutritional choices continuing to be up for public scrutiny.
One of the more eyebrow-raising comments appeared as a crude pregnancy reference, “Put a bun in her oven.” Seeing that Garcia has yet to announce anything of the sort, this looks more like a gaffe than a confirmed rumour.
Garcia’s move into cooking was rather unusual as many celebrities have expanded their brands into lifestyle and wellness niches. That she confessed to feeling control through cooking will definitely resonate with many fans who turn to household tasks to get through tough times. This is just one episode that teaches cooking-together with the guiding voice of a public figure-the role simple kitchen activities play in easing stress through culinary bonding with family amid career turmoil.
The message of empowerment in the kitchen will strike a chord with many parents and home cooks who equate praise of form and function to caring for families. So far in all her careers, Garcia is doing the opposite in her kitchen, where from ingredient choice to presentation, she calls the shots.
