Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has been a hot topic over the last several years, and so have her children. Recently, her daughter, Brielle Biermann, opened up in a new interview about having their private information scattered across the media and much more.
As fans know, both Brielle, 28, and Kim, 47, appeared on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind. The series, which aired on E!, featured them and other celebrities pursuing the idea of reversing their various plastic surgery procedures. This happened as her younger sister, Ariana Biermann, 23, was appearing on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC.
Brielle recently appeared on Reginae Carter‘s Heir Time podcast. When asked about her younger siblings and their dynamic, she stated, “Ariana and I are best friends. We always have been. I feel like she has always been my child in a way.”
“I have four younger siblings. KJ is 14, going into high school, and he is quick. I’m like, ‘KJ, calm down, there are enough women for later,’” Brielle continued. She added that he’ll sometimes ask her to send him money to grab food or Lyft rides for the girls he’s courting. Brielle also said, “All the siblings are so different, and I’m definitely like the parent to them, and Ariana is like the fun one.”
As the interview continued, Reginae asked Brielle about the things she’s experienced in the public eye that she hopes will be different for her younger siblings. She stated, “Unfortunately, I think they’re kind of going through it with me.”
She went on, “For example, I didn’t know Kim and Kroy were getting a divorce until I read it on TMZ. I didn’t know we had no money. So, they’re finding out sh** online the same time I am.” Brielle went on to say she wished “not everything was aired publicly for them to see it.”
Regarding the money issues in Kim and Kroy’s marriage, Brielle said they still had a house cleaner and a chef, and that her mother was “unaware of a lot of the financials.”
The topic of Ariana being on Next Gen NYC then came up, and Reginae asked if Brielle gave her any advice. “Well, I’ll give her some advice right today. I’m gonna send her a cease and desist and an NDA because it’s getting wild out there,” Brielle joked. As fans know, Ariana was open about her family’s financial issues, which is what Brielle could be alluding to.
They also touched on plastic surgery again. Brielle said, “I’m not touching it anymore. We’re done. I haven’t even done my lips in three years. Nobody will let me.”
From there, they got into the headlines about her family and how she copes with them. “It’s hard. Like I said, I didn’t know anything. Were there a couple of signs? Maybe, but not enough for a divorce. Like it really came out of nowhere,” Brielle said.
She then said, “Not a lot of people know this, but I read the article in a Walmart parking lot, and my mom pulled up next to me, and she rolled down the window, and I’m like, ‘What the fu** is this?’ And she just starts crying and she’s like, ‘I didn’t know how to tell you.’”
Brielle added, “I was banger with a lot of harsh realities all at once. It was like, I bought a first-class flight to the Bahamas yesterday, and I’m told you have zero dollars, and I’m like, ‘Well, where did all that money go?’” She also said she doesn’t understand how Kim handles it all and called her “superwoman.”
Toward the end, she discussed her year-and-a-half-long engagement. She said, “I gotta plan this wedding, and I definitely want kids soon. I mean, I’m 28, like I’m old(er).” She went on to say she never wanted kids until she met her fiancé. Brielle also stated that she wants to start a haircare line.
