Right today, Cartwright is the talk of the town. Her up-to-date post is with Kristen Doute, and she’s ecstatic to finally see an old friend in person. She didn’t say much, but the impact of her words is felt deeply: “I finally got Kristen out for a night!!” If you understand the story and history of their friendship, those words have a hole lot more meaning. Both women, with and without the cameras, have faced many struggles, and the two being reunited like this is like completing an unfinished puzzle.

The story that captures everyone’s attention isn’t the photo itself but rather everything that comes after. Everyone is losing it in the comments for a very good reason. Kristen Doute just gave birth, and no one can get over how good she looks. My personal favourite was one user’s, “It took me 6 years to even start getting my body back. Insert Kristen and she’s this glowing goddess 2.5 seconds after giving birth.” That comment is so beloved because it is so specific. Postpartum is a process and seeing someone look that incredible at that time is inspiring but also kinda funny if you personally already went through it.
Another comment was nicely stating, ”Motherhood looks stunning on Kristen Doute.” Which is true. There is that glow that is more than just good and aesthetic. It is happiness that is radiantly visible. Someone else added, ”Kristen has come a long way. I’m so glad she’s happy & a mommy. She’s wanted that for a long time.” That comment is special because a lot of people have rooted for her for a long time. Everyone knows about the drama with Vanderpump Rules and it is more special seeing her transition into this part of her life.
People then returned to the subject of Mrs. Cartwright: “Brit getting her sparkle back.” That comment means a lot. Especially since Cartwright has had her share of public struggles post the Jax Taylor scandal. Seeing her out, smiling, and looking happy is a vibe. People are here for her glow-up. Another user even requested her lip combo, which is such a classic fan move—always wanting to know the beauty secrets!
Compared to the other comments, one of them was rather off-putting. The comment was: Can one of Brittany’s friends tell her that she needs to do a makeover and stop looking like she’s a prostitute. Yikes. There was a reasonable response to such a hateful remark: “Makes me laugh when trolls put comments like this due to jealousy etc then you click on their profile pic and see the reason.” The comments on the internet can be like the wild west, but the good thing is for every hateful comment there is an equal amount of support.
Some fans said in a joking manner, ”To think you both f’ed the same guy. Ha ha ha ha.” This was alluding to their connection with Jax, which went downhill quickly. It is a positive sign that either rave can find humour in the situation. On the other hand, a supporter commented, “Jax dropped the ball SO HARD.” This was pretty clear, but it is good seeing both of them doing well.
One of the user’s comments really left an impression on me: “Kristen has one of the best character arcs of all time.” And that is overwhelmingly true. Take a moment to picture a reality TV villain and then compare that to a glowing new mom. That’s quite the glow up. This is what makes the Jennifer Post so satisfying to me. There is a care to the photo but also there is a meaning behind the photo which is regarding resilience and friendship.

Kristen and Brittany were out celebrating each other and the women that they are becoming, and most comments were about expressing support. One comment was “Much needed breath of shorty time. Brief but needed for sanity/reality check.” So yes, people were glad that they went out. Since Kristen just had a baby, spending time with friends is very important. The post reminded us that not everything about a celebrity is public, and how valuable they cherish the time with friends. Sometimes, its all about seeing and reminding yourself such things.
