
EXCLUSIVE: Bruce Dern, Scottie Thompson and Nick Stahl have joined the cast of director John Francis Sullivan‘s coming-of-age drama All Day Happy Dance.
immediately in production, the indie feature stars Dern as steadfast patriarch Gramps, whose daughter Shay (Thompson) is a single mother navigating the ADHD diagnosis of one of her identical twin sons, who shares his medication with his brother in attempt to be understood, sparking an unforgettable summer.
The twins, portrayed by newcomers Atticus and Finneas North, go on an adventure filled with waterparks, first crushes and self-discovery, while learning what makes them alike and different.
Rounding out the cast are Blake Lindsley (Reacher, NCIS), Kate Spare (Trust, Punching Henry) and Will River Mossek (Our Hero Balthasar), as well as Jasper John Weinberg and Elisabeth Fitzgerald making their screen debuts.
The film is produced by Buffy Andrade Castillo’s b.light productions, as well as Tammy Apana, John ‘JD’ Drury, Martin Palafox, Thompson and Sullivan. Eve Pomerance of CSA serves as casting director and producer.
