Alan Carr has revealed his friendship with Paloma Faith is over following his decision to murder her on The Celebrity Traitors.
The TV funnyman, who is one of three Traitors in the BBC series, picked Paloma to kill off first in the series.
Paloma was horrified by Alan’s “betrayal”, given their close relationship. And immediately Alan has confirmed they are no longer friends as a result.
Speaking on his Life’s A Beach podcast, Alan said: “I’m killing people. I’ve killed Paloma Faith. Tom Daley, I can’t stop killing. I’ve got a taste for it. I’m like, what the (bleep) is it? Jeffrey Dahmer?”

Alan was chatting to DJ Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim. Norman asked him: “Aren’t you mates with Paloma?” Alan replied: “Well I was…” He added: “I’ll tell you. I’ve killed Paloma Faith she’s not happy about it.”
Are Celebrity Traitors’ Alan Carr and Paloma Faith still friends?
Paloma was the first celebrity to be murdered in The Celebrity Traitors and Alan even did it in plain sight. He was tasked with rubbing his hands on a ‘poisonous’ lily before subtly touching her face.
The singer has since anthem out at Alan in several social media posts. Referring to these, Alan also told Norman: “There’s been a few, let’s just say little TikTok-y things where she says I’ve let her down because I killed her in plain sight.
“I was desperate and she went, ‘If you were a real friend you wouldn’t have killed me’ but I said I’m the Traitor. The show’s called The Traitors.
Alan added: “It’s like going on Naked Attraction and being told, ‘What? I have to take my knickers off?’ You know, it does what it says on the tin. I can’t help it.”
Following her ‘death’, Paloma hasn’t held back on what she thinks about Alan’s actions. After being given the boot, she initially said on Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked: “I still maintain to this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that.
“He shouldn’t have done that to me and I’m surprised that he did. I categorically would not have touched Alan’s face. Maybe it was the easiest option. But it was the choice he made and I think it was not very nice.”
Paloma later took aim at him on social media.

Paloma hits back
In a later episode of The Celebrity Traitors, Alan lied to broadcaster Clare Balding about murdering Paloma. Clare had accused him of being responsible, to which Alan replied: “I just… I wouldn’t do it.”
Paloma immediately took to Instagram and shared a black and white photo of a crying eye. She captioned it: “He said he couldn’t do it to me! Arghhhhhhhhh!”
Really making her feelings known, Paloma then snubbed Alan as her winner for the show. Publicly backing actress Ruth Codd, she also said: “My absolute FAVE FAVE FAVE @ruthcodd legend #traitors.”
Unfortunately for Paloma, Ruth was later murdered by Alan and his fellow Traitors, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.
Who is left in The Celebrity Traitors?
With three episodes to go, no one has rumbled a single Traitor yet. Alan, Jonathan and Cat still remain in the game. The Faithfuls left in Ardross Castle are Kate Garraway, Nick Mohammed and Lucy Beaumont. Celia Imrie, Joe Marler and David Olusoga also remain.
Stephen Fry is the most recent celebrity to have been banished. Kate, Lucy and Nick are all at risk of being murdered nextby the Traitors.
The Celebrity Traitors continues at 9pm on BBC One tonight (Wednesday October 29, 2025).
