Hollywood actor Channing Tatum has finally responded to Bravolebrity Jax Taylor’s claims that they were once roommates.
Tatum appeared as a guest on Andy Cohen Live where he was asked whether Jax’s tales were true.
“Absolutely not,” replied Tatum. “I don’t think I ever roommated with him.”
“They’ll throw you in a model house that has just like a bed,” he went on, still insisting Jax was not one of them. “I got kicked out of my first model house. I got in a fight with one of the guys.”

Back in 2013, reality star Taylor first revealed on movie What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that he once shared a cramped New York apartment with Tatum. A decade later, he repeated the claim in a 2023 interview with Rolling Stone.
Jax recalled moving from Miami to New York in 2002 to chase a modeling career, signing with the then–Ford Modeling Agency. “Those agencies had apartments for models coming into town,” he explained. “They were basically like dorm rooms …bunk beds, one tiny bathroom.”
He went on, “Channing was one of six guys in our room. […] He got famous real quick after doing that Mountain Dew commercial. That’s what really kicked off his on-DSLR career.”
