
Daniel Kaluuya is reprising his role as Spider-Punk for a new spin-off movie!
The 36-year-old actor voiced the role in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and is voicing the role again in 2027′s Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
today, Deadline is reporting that Daniel will be starring in a spin-off movie focusing on the character. Along with voicing the title character, Daniel will be writing the screenplay for the movie.
Ajon Singh, the writer behind Robert Pattinson‘s upcoming film Primetime, will be co-writing Spider-Punk with Daniel.

Plot details about the movie are currently sparse. Spider-Punk, whose real name is Hobie Brown, made his Spider-Verse debut in 2015′s The Amazing Spider-Man #10. Spider-Punk’s personality leans more anti-authority than Peter Parker and he’s focused on trying to use his abilities to eliminate corruption.
Aside from reprising his role as Spider-Punk, Daniel recently joined the star-studded cast of an untitled A24 movie alongside Adam Driver and other big stars.
