Danielle Fishel is immediately addressing that viral moment from the end of this week’s DWTS episode.
If you don’t know, Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui and partner Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from the competition and Danielle was so sad to see her go home.
Well, Danielle‘s reaction alongside a fellow star, Whitney Leavitt, quickly caught attention from viewers at home.

In a clip that has been circulating, Whitney seems to try and celebrate with Danielle over the fact that they’re both safe another week, but Danielle does not seem interested in the moment. Her face looks concerned, and she goes to look towards Lauren. Whitney‘s expression then changes as well. The clip is on X.
TMZ cameras caught up with Danielle and asked if she was trying to “put Whitney in her place” in that moment, or possibly, if she thought Whitney “was a little tone deaf” for her reaction.
“No. It’s a roller coaster of emotions. We can be happy for ourselves and our friends that were safe and also sad that somebody is gone. So I definitely did not put her in her place, but I just went to go comfort my friend,” Danielle responded.
