Intimacy coordinators are professionals in the filmmaking industry that help actors and actresses feel more comfortable filming intimate scenes together. They’ve become a standard part of the filmmaking process, but some celebs have chosen not to have one in their own projects.
“As a couple, we didn’t need an intimacy coordinator,” Dave said in their interview with The Times. “We’ve been together almost 15 years; we know what we’re doing and we’re pretty comfortable with it.”
Even though they didn’t need an intimacy coordinator, Alison admitted that it was pretty unusual to be filming intimate scenes with her husband in front of a film crew.
“The film also involves lots of intimate scenes, which was kind of weird. Doing what we had to do in front of a hundred people was a new experience,” Alison said.
