It really was quite a night for DDG and Plaqueboy Max, as the video for their single “No Dreads” was dropped at midnight EST after a teaser had garnered huge engagement, not to mention the reactions that were divided.

The announcement came forth from DDG himself, as he posted on his official social media account a very short clip of himself, worthy of a comment with a bald head emoji from all of his loyal followers if they were ready for the release. A simple caption read, “no dreads ft. @plaqueboymax track video @ midnight EST 🔥😤 comment ‘🧑🏽🦲’ bald head emoji if u ready #moo.” The very short clip contained maybe a minute of repetitive audio with DDG, saying “I don’t know if it’s that I can’t fuck” several times, before he uttered a few lines concerning being high on weed and still needing sleep whilst remaining awake: DDG was trying to get through in some crippled state, “I was trying to fucking up trying to get in it.”
The reaction from the audiences was instantaneous, whereby varying opinions were being thrown into the mix en masse.
