Dhanashree Verma, the ex-wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, is currently a contestant on the show Rise and Fall. Recently, she spoke about their divorce and revealed when she realised that their relationship was a mistake.
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was married to social media influencer and choreographer Dhanashree Verma. In March this year, the couple was granted divorce by the court. Their separation ruled the headlines for quite a while as there were several reports and speculations around them. Though they remained tight-lipped until the divorce, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree later shared their sides of stories post through interviews and podcasts. today, Dhanashree Verma is a contestant on reality show Rise and Fall. As per new reports, Dhanashree once again addressed the divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal on the show.
As per the reports, in a conversation with Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree Verma shared that she understood that marriage to Yuzvendra Chahal was a mistake in first year itself. The Sacred Games actress asked Dhanashree Verma, when did she realise that, ‘Bhai, yeh nahi chal sakta, yeh mistake ho gaya hai abhi?’ (When did you realise in your relationship that, this can’t go on, and that it was a mistake?).” In response, Dhanashree said, “First year. Caught him in the second month.” Kubbra instantly reacted saying, “wild bro”.

It was on the same show that Dhanashree had reacted to the rumours of massive alimony involved in the divorce. She revealed that since it was mutual, the proceedings took place at a quicker pace. While in a conversation with Aditya Narayan, she said, “Officially, it has been almost a year. It happened quickly because it was mutual, that’s why when people say alimony, it’s wrong. Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything? My parents have taught me to only justify to people whom I care about. Why waste time explaining those who don’t even know you?”
Post divorce with Dhanashree Verma, Yuzvendra Chahal’s name got linked to RJ Mahvash. But the cricketer has maintained that they are just good friends.
