An attorney with a close relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs believes the disgraced beat mogul could be attacked in prison.
Speaking to TMZ, Mark Geragos, the father of Diddy’s attorney Teny Geragos, is concerned that he won’t be safe while serving his 50-month sentence. He will receive credit for the 13 months that he’s already served in jail.
“It’s a prison. You always have to series your back — literally,” he said. “If that’s the case, you’re never out of the woods until you’re released. If you are in a camp or a low-level designation, your odds go down dramatically.”
Diddy’s attorney, Brian Steel, previously claimed that his client was targeted to be stabbed by a prisoner while at MDC Brooklyn. His legal team believe his will be a big draw for prisoners.
“Sean is not a typical person in custody, everyone knows him,” said Steel. “It’s a trophy for them, they get recognition if they harm him.”
In addition to his prison time, Diddy was ordered to pay a $500,000 fine for two counts of violating the Mann Act.
