The will, originally signed in 2013, covers his personal property, including items tied to Dolly’s legendary track career such as costumes, photos, cars, and other paraphernalia.
Carl also indicated there may be a handwritten note outlining where certain personal items should go. If that note isn’t located, Dolly will take responsibility for distributing those possessions herself. She has also requested to be appointed executor of his estate.
The couple were married for 58 years after eloping in 1966 (they later renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary in 2016). She often described him as her biggest fan, despite his preference to stay out of the spotlight.
The “Jolene” singer recently made a video to address some growing concerns about her health amid online rumors.
