
Donald Trump is immediately speaking out about yet another celebrity: Gayle King.
The POTUS’ statement came after a New York Post article was published claiming Gayle‘s future at CBS Mornings, the CBS morning television show, was “murky.” Her contract – currently estimated to be worth somewhere between $13 million and $15 million – is up in May of 2026. That’s the same time that Stephen Colbert‘s The Late Show will be taken off the air.

The President posted on Truth Social on Monday (August 4), “Gayle King’s career is over. She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP. She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!”
This is not the first time Trump has weighed in on talk show hosts. He just recently slammed Jimmy Kimmel and celebrated Stephen Colbert‘s cancellation.
