Drake and his former co-stars are taking a trip down memory lane in the first trailer for new documentary ‘Degrassi: Whatever It Takes.’ Drake shares struggling to fit in at high school before “wild journey that started” with getting cast. Shenae Grimes-Beech describes a “whirlwind experience,” while Stefan Brogren remembers “becoming real teen icons.” But it wasn’t all good times as Amanda Stepto reflects on “hate” from fans, and Brogren notes, “Sometimes you just don’t want to be known for Degrassi.” The Lisa Rideout-directed film features Drake, Dayo Ade, Brogren, Amanda Deiseach, Maureen Deiseach, Grimes-Beech, Jake Epstein, Shane Kippel, Miriam McDonald, Stacie Mistysyn, Melinda Shankar, Stepto and Jordan Todosey. The film makes its world premiere September 13 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
