A long dry stretch of weather has settled in…and continues for a while. From Lobster Fest in Rockland Maine, to Heritage Days in Scituate, Mass., the sunshine will be fantastic again today.
Along with low humidity and warmer temps. Coastal communities will see an afternoon sea breeze that keeps our temps in the 70s, with 80s expected inland. The Pan Mass Challenge also continues across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and cyclists will enjoy picturesque weather today.

Canadian wildfires impact air quality
The air quality is concerning across northern New England today through Monday as thick wildfire smoke from Canadian wildfires makes it hazardous to breathe. Air quality is poor across much of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine so you may need to limit your time outdoors. The air quality is moderate across southern New England.

Dewpoints and the humidity both seem to stay pretty low through the start to next week. This is one indication that rain chances are minimal all week long. Only a couple of showers across interior New England will be possible Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. As high pressure moves to center itself just to the northeast of New England Tuesday and Wednesday, the onshore flow brings in a cool down to highs in the 70s.
