Elaine Hendrix has shared an update from the hospital.
The 54-year-old actress unfortunately suffered an injury during Dancing With the Stars rehearsals ahead of the live show and was unable to compete that night.
Due to her inability to take part in the live show, her final, full rehearsal footage was aired and the judges critiqued her and partner Alan Bersten based on that video.
After it was revealed she was in the hospital, Elaine shared a video on social media, revealing her injury and if she’s able to continue dancing (she is!).

In her video above, Elaine shared that she injured her ribs during “Wicked Night” the week before, and they seized up during one of the final rehearsals.
However, she revealed that she has been cleared by the doctor, who said with a day or two of rest, she should be good to continue in the competition!
For her judging this week, based on the rehearsal footage, she received compliments from the four judges, and her total score was 32 out of 40.
She still needs votes from viewers in order to continue in the competition.
