
Congratulations are in order for Reba McEntire and Rex Linn, who subtly confirmed their engagement on the Emmy’s red carpet.
During an interview with Live From E!: 2025 Emmys, interviewer Zuri Hall introduced Linn, 68 as McEntire’s fiancee, with the actress giving her a pointed look and nodding along.
The pair appear together on sitcom Happy’s Place, with the 70-year-old actress sharing: “We’re having a blast on Happy’s Place and so glad to be here tonight.”

The couple first met in the 1990s on the set of The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw, but nothing bloomed apart from friendship.
Decades later, they reunited on the set of Young Sheldon in 2020, with Linn supporting her through one of te toughest moments of her life.
“In 2020, when Mama got sick, he called me,” she shared on US Today in October 2021.

“Starting in March of 2020, we just kept talking and visiting and finally got together, see each other in June… and we’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since.”
The country singer previously shared that she would be willing to walk down the aisle with Linn a third time if he wanted.
“If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me,” McEntire told E! in a 2024 interview.

“He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”
The Reba star was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015, sharing son Shelby, a race car driver, with him.
