Mickey Madden‘s marriage has ended just three months after tying the knot.
The former Maroon 5 bassist’s wife, Catherine Blair Bowman, filed for divorce on August 12 in Los Angeles County, citing irreconcilable differences, per People.
The filing comes two weeks after she accused the 46-year-old musician of physically assaulting her following a confrontation over alleged “sexting with teenage girls.”

According to court documents, she is seeking spousal support and division of assets. The couple married on May 6, 2025, and share no children.
Her restraining order filing, submitted on July 30, claimed she was “terrified” of Mickey and alleged the assault took place on July 21. She accused him of restraining her, slamming her into a kitchen counter, and shoving her to the ground while trying to retrieve his phone.
The request also alleged another incident of abuse in May and included text messages in which he referred to the sexting as “a private and fake harmless fantasy” but “completely unacceptable.”
In the alleged text messages, she wrote, “Mickey. I do not know the man who hires 18 year old prostitutes to text them about wanting to be their stepdad and rape them while we are on our honeymoon.”
She then seemingly alluded to having a similar experience in an abusive relationship with an older man as a teenager.
“I am beyond sorry for my actions and for engaging in any form of expression of those impulses..it’s all completely unacceptable. but I have to draw the line at that characterization of what I did ..This was entirely relegated to text..It’s not excusable by any means but I have to make it clear that I would never act on any of that consensual fantasy talk,” he reportedly wrote back.
Mikey left Maroon 5 in 2020 following a separate domestic violence arrest, and has not publicly commented on the divorce. Find out more about his leave of absence from the band.
