The Boston University field hockey team will kick off a three-game homestand on Monday (Oct. 6) when in hosts undefeated and fourth-ranked Harvard. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU has won five of its past seven contests and is coming off a 4-1 Patriot League road win over Lehigh on Saturday.
- Senior Caroline O’Brien continues to shine offensively with multi-goal performances in three of the past four games.
- She scored twice in Saturday’s win while junior Nicole Lauro and freshman Molly Driscoll had one goal apiece.
- Amongst Patriot League players, O’Brien ranks first in points (26) and goals (10) and second in assists (6).
- Lauro has set a career high in goals with five while Driscoll has added four goals and an assist.
- Junior Sophie Ortyl has started the past eight games in goal and has a 5-3 record to go along with a .705 cut percentage and 2.26 goals-against average this season.
- Seniors Maddie Hudson and Celia Nocivelli are serving as co-captains this year.

SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
- Harvard has won all nine of its contests this season with four of them coming against ranked teams.
- The Crimson, which earned a 6-1 home win over Penn on Saturday, won their first three games in overtime and have only allowed two goals over the past six contests.
- Harvard was picked second in the preseason Ivy League poll and already has a win over preseason favorite Princeton.
- Juniors Lara Beekhuis (5g, 3a) and Saga Piekarski (6g, 1a) share the team lead in points with 13.
- Sophomore Martha le Huray has added 11 points on five goals and an assist.
- Freshman Linde Burger has played every minute in goal for the Crimson this season and sports an .813 cut percentage and an 0.62 goals-against average.
SERIES HISTORY VS. HARVARD
- Monday will mark the 42nd all-time meeting between the crosstown rivals.
