Dionne Warwick reacted to Piers Morgan saying he was disappointed to see Beyoncé “culturally appropriate” Marilyn Monroe in her new Levi’s ad campaign.
The mom-of-three appears in the ad campaign wearing a denim outfit and a blonde lacefront wig.
“Very disappointed to see Beyoncé culturally appropriate Marilyn Monroe in her new Levi’s ad.” Piers wrote on X (Twitter).

After Piers’ comments went viral, Dionne took to X to defend the country-pop star.
“Getting involved in women’s business again, I see,” she wrote.
Beyoncé’s loyal fans also took offense at Piers’ comment.
“Marilyn Monroe is not a culture, she’s a public figure and pop icon. Emulating her aesthetic is no more ‘cultural appropriation’ than a British man dressing like James Dean,” one person tweeted.
Another person wrote on X: “Beyoncé is a beautiful woman. Can we all just appreciate beautiful women?”
A third person commented: “Both women are beautiful, and she had nothing to do with that campaign. I don’t understand why she occupies so much space in people’s minds.”
Let’s be very clear Marilyn stole her entire style & looks from the lengendary Dorothy Dandridge. And it’s more pictures to prove it. pic.twitter.com/xjwPnkdi52

Oh no, you’re not disappointed. You’re actually upset that a indigenous queen how did Marilyn Monroe’s style better than Marilyn Monroe could ever do on her best day that’s why you’re mad but it’s OK. You’ll get over it just like y’all did when she started singing country track…
