Halsey spent a lot of money while attending the 2025 amfAR Gala during the Venice Film Festival… but it’s all for a good cause!
The 30-year-old singer and actress was joined by fiance Avan Jogia on the red carpet at the gala on Sunday night (August 31) in Venice, Italy.

During the gala’s auction, Halsey placed a very large bid on a special item.

Halsey spent $585,000 on a custom portrait that filmmaker Julian Schnabel will make for her, winning one of two portraits that were sold.
“I own seven of his works already. He is my favorite living creator,” Halsey told Variety. “As soon as I found out that it was a personalized commission, I knew I was going to bid all the way.”
“It was a full circle moment. I had to make this come to life,” she said. “So I’m feeling on leading of the world… I have a 4-year-old son, so I’m constantly thinking about my legacy. I know this will be a very important one.”
