“Good Morning America” is coming to Boston.
The ABC morning show will report live from Brighton on Aug. 7 during the show’s “50 States in 50 Weeks: America the Beautiful” series.
The yearlong series leading up to the nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026, launched in July. Each week the show highlights a new state in the order in which the state joined the United States, and next up is Massachusetts. The show will spotlight the Bay State’s “rich culture, history, and community spirit,” according to the show.
Will Reeve from ABC News will report live from the Harry Parker Boathouse along the Charles River alongside senior rowers from Boston’s Age Strong program. The boathouse is located at 20 Nonantum Road.

50 things to do this summer across Massachusetts
“GMA” will focus on what makes Massachusetts great, and part of that discussion will include Wally’s Café Jazz Club in Boston, a family-run club and the first Black-owned jazz club in New England. It was opened by Joseph L. Walcott in 1947.
“Our mission goes beyond just track; it’s about creating moments that resonate for a lifetime,” according to the Wally’s Café Jazz Club website.
