Major spoilers ahead for The Summer I Turned Pretty. If you’ve been keeping up with The Summer I Turned Pretty, you’ve probably decided that you’re on Team Jeremiah or Team Conrad. But which couple is endgame?
For a quick refresher of Season 3 so far, Belly found out that Jeremiah cheated on her with Lacie while on a trip in Cabo. It’s quite uncertain whether they were truly broken up when the cheating happened. If you ask Belly, they weren’t broken up, but Jeremiah obviously thought that they were over for good. The two have an emotional reunion after Steven is injured in a car accident, and Jeremiah ends up proposing to Belly (with a measly engagement ring, if you’re asking us).

The families aren’t so happy with the idea that the two are engaged, but the couple proceeds with wedding planning. Conrad comes back to Cousins for Susannah’s garden dedication and even helps Belly out picking out stuff for the ceremony. The two bond and Belly has second thoughts about the wedding—even throughout her bridal shower. When Conrad goes surfing, he gets cut by a fin and bleeds in their beach house. Belly offers to help Conrad, and they have a tender moment. Suddeny, Belly has a fleeting moment where she almost kisses her fiancé’s brother
Well, if you want to know who Belly ends up with, according to the books, Belly marries Conrad instead of Jeremiah. But how did all of that happen?
How do Belly & Conrad end up together in The Summer I Turned Pretty?
The weekend before the wedding, Conrad finds out that Jeremiah cheated on Belly in Cabo, and a scuffle emerges. Jeremiah punches Conrad, and the latter confesses his love to her. The two call off the wedding after Jeremiah realizes that Conrad was truly meant for Belly.

The two reconnect as she sees him at her graduation for the first time in a while, and they have their wedding ceremony at Cousins Beach. Belly ends up having her dream come true of having the last name Fisher and hangs up the letters in their living room.
Will this be the same fate in the tienda online series? Maybe. Author and showrunner Jenny Han confirmed to Time in August 2023 that The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 won’t exactly be the same as the books. “If you knew exactly what was going to happen, it wouldn’t be a very satisfying show-watching experience,” Han said. “Part of the enjoyment of watching TV or movies is that you don’t know. I am always trying to preserve the audience experience—my aim is to surprise and delight and to give the fans the best possible story.”
