The show will be broadcast from the UBS Arena on Sunday (September 7) starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT live from New York.
For the first time ever, the ceremony will air simultaneously on CBS and MTV.

If you don’t have cable, there are plenty of streaming options to series the VMAs live.
You can log in with your cable provider credentials through the CBS or MTV websites and apps. If you’re a Paramount+ with Live TV subscriber, you’ll be able to stream the show in real time.
Services like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV and Sling TV also offer live access to both MTV and CBS. Many of these platforms provide free trials as well, so you can sign up just for the show.
The pre-show and red carpet coverage will air one hour before the main event at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. ET across CBS, MTV and other Viacom-owned channels like BET and VH1.
